Each spring, former UF Soccer Club Alumni
(aka Agin’ Gators) return to for the Agin’ Gators Soccer Society Alumni
Weekend. Risking catastrophic injury and humiliation, alumni join together and compete
on the same field of play against the current UF Soccer Club. This is the
highlight of the weekend, usually marked by some one-sided refereeing, plenty of
bloopers-tape-worthy moments and the half-time awards presentation by our guest of honor,
Coach A.C. Moore. The
2008 AGSS Alumni Weekend is scheduled for April 11-13. |

Friday,
April 11 UFSC vs. ??? - a chance
for Agin’ Gators to get rowdy and support the UFSC. Good chance to scout the
competition for the Saturday morning game. Post-game analysis - Get
together at a downtown bar to reminisce about old times and get to know the
current team. Saturday,
April 12 UFSC vs. AGSS match Gator Football Orange and
Blue Game - get a preview of Urban Meyer's squad for the fall. Party - Meet for food and
drinks and hanging out. Clyde Relick will present his match report from the
morning's action. |
